According to Pharaoh’s dream, the seven gaunt and thin cows that came out of the Nile River ate up the seven sleek and fat cows.

The interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream is found in the Book of Genesis in the Bible. In Genesis 41:17-27, Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s dream about the seven gaunt and thin cows devouring the seven sleek and fat cows as a prophecy of seven years of abundance followed by seven years of famine. The thin cows represented the years of famine that would consume the abundance symbolized by the fat cows.
