    • Non-H. pylori Gastritis: Inflammation of the stomach lining with varying degrees of damage to the mucosa. It might appear reddened, swollen, or eroded.
    • H. pylori-Induced Gastritis: H. pylori infection leads to a specific pattern of inflammation. It can result in chronic gastritis, characterized by the infiltration of immune cells into the stomach lining. This can eventually lead to atrophy (thinning) of the lining.
  3. Complications:
