  • Colloids: These are solutions containing large molecules such as proteins or starches that help maintain oncotic pressure within blood vessels. Examples include Albumin and Hydroxyethyl Starch (HES).
  • Blood products: These include red blood cells (RBCs), fresh frozen plasma (FFP), platelets, and cryoprecipitate used to address specific hematologic conditions or deficiencies.
